I'm currently running an XPS Studio 16 laptop with as many enhancement as I could afford to tag onto it. I get a windfall in October, so I'm looking at new laptops atm, but I'm torn on what to buy. At the moment I've been looking at MSI and Asus, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them!
It has to be a laptop (I'll use it for work too), and my maximum spend is around £1200 (a bit more if it's really worth it).

I would look at the Asus G series, all my PCs I built I went with Asus and any laptop I have is Asus. I feel they are great when it comes to gaming, they even do their own gaming motherboard which is really good. Never had an issue with the laptop from Asus though. I would say this, it might be costly, but its better to get a decent laptop then have to fork out money again in 3 years. A decent laptop can last you a long while, 1200 is a great limit but you wont have to go over 1000 if you are lucky you can pick a good Asus at 900. Before you buy, just give me a shout and I will find out if the wholesaler for the company I work for can source one.
